Dear Friends and Family:
It’s not easy reaching out to friends and colleagues for financial contributions – but every once in a while we are all motivated by a greater cause. For me this cause is ASHAR, a wonderful and inclusive Rockland County Yeshiva (Jewish day school). Over the years ASHAR has grown to become a shining example of what can be accomplished when Torah is coupled with strong academics and good character development. For two years I’ve watched my son Aharon and his classmates flourish under the mentorship of ASHAR’s Early Childhood Program and I am confident that with community support, from people like you, ASHAR can continue its mission to build a brighter future for generations of Jewish boys and girls.
This year, my wife Raizel and I are being honored as parents of the year at ASHAR’s Annual Dinner. This is not something we earned but we do see this as an opportunity for us to play a small role in helping this exemplary Yeshiva. To that end, I am asking you, as a friend and colleague to place an ad in the dinner journal or make a contribution, no matter how small, to ASHAR. You can be certain that every dollar raised will benefit the hundreds of children who are being groomed to become outstanding members of the Jewish community.
