Exchange Of Matter
By Tzvi Freeman
Especially with our people, it is impossible to separate between
physical needs and spiritual needs. The spiritual transforms into
physicality and the physical rises to become spiritual in a
perpetual chemistry of exchange.
Heal the soul and the body is renewed.
Heal the body and the soul is empowered.

Cops searching for home-invasion robber in Wesley Hills
BY STEVE LIEBERMAN •
SLIEBERM@LOHUD.COM •
JULY 7, 2009
RAMAPO - Police continue to search the Lime Kiln Road area of Wesley Hills this morning
for a man suspected of robbing a house of jewelry and cash.
The home invasion robbery was reported at 9:34 a.m. on Lime Kiln Road, according to police.
Two women apparently interrupted the burglar in their home and he fled, said Ramapo Police Detective Sgt. Brian Corbett.
By 11:10 a.m., Ramapo Police had saturated the area and continued to question residents and search the wooded area behind the home where the break-in occurred.
Police broadcast a description of the suspect as a 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 white man in his late 20s to early 30s with a tan complexion and thin build. The suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and a baseball cap.
Police were searching Wilder Road and surrounding streets. Several men in the area were arranged into an impromptu lineup and presented to the victims, but they were not identified as the burglar.
No arrests have been made.
Neighbor Jessica Chanofsky, who was outside her home as police searched the area, said she had lived there for a decade.
"This is an extremely safe neighborhood. We keep our doors unlocked," she said. "Not any more."
Note: The Helicopter hovering over Wesley Hills was searching for the suspect.

Irena Sendler
Irena Sendler was born in 1910 in Otwock, a town some 15 miles southeast of
Warsaw. She was greatly influenced by her father who was one of the first
Polish Socialists. As a doctor his patients were mostly poor Jews. In 1939,
Germany invaded Poland, and the brutality of the Nazis accelerated with
murder, violence and terror. At the time, Irena was a Senior Administrator
in the Warsaw Social Welfare Department, which operated the canteens in
every district of the city. Previously, the canteens provided meals,
financial aid, and other services for orphans, the elderly, the poor and the
destitute. Now, through Irena, the canteens also provided clothing, medicine
and money for the Jews. They were registered under fictitious Christian
names, and to prevent inspections, the Jewish families were reported as
being afflicted with such highly infectious diseases as typhus and
tuberculosis.
But in 1942, the Nazis herded hundreds of thousands of Jews into a 16-block
area that came to be known as the Warsaw Ghetto. The Ghetto was sealed and
the Jewish families ended up behind its walls, only to await certain death.
Irena Sendler was so appalled by the conditions that she joined Zegota, the
Council for Aid to Jews, organized by the Polish underground resistance
movement, as one of its first recruits and directed the efforts to rescue
Jewish children.
