Mechiras Chumetz, Ma'os Chitim, Special Sh'mira Matzos for Seder

Dear Chaveirim,

Firstly, I want to personally wish all of you and your families a wonderful and meaningful Shabbos Hagodol.

As you prepare for Peisach please keep in mind the following:

1) As in previous years, I will be IY'H acting as an agent to sell Chometz for Peisach to a Gentile. If you're interested, I will be available for you to sign a S'htar Harsha'ah empowering me to sell your Chomotz et. al. all next week. The best times are immediately after Shachris, and/or Maariv. At all other times it's best to arrange for a time by contacting me through my cell phone (845-548-7043). The latest time to sell the Chometz through me is Thursday evening, Leil B'deekas Chumetz, about Maariv time. I expect to meet the Gentile at about 8:00 pm that evening (the next day is a Gentile Holiday).

2) I am collecting money for the very important and obligatory Mitzvah of Ma'os Chitim (or Kimcha D'pischa) - charity to help our needier brothers and sisters both in Monsey and in Eretz Yisroel meet their minimum needs for Peisach. You can give me cash or a check made out to any of the two tax exempt organizations posted on the Shul bulletin board (Congregation Bnei Yaakov or Cong. Yakov Kopel).

3) Once again, I have a limited supply of Sh'mura matzos baked via a Chabura in which I and members of my family personally participated. Matzo baked in this way L'Shem Matzas Mitzvah is especially preferrable for use at the Seder to be m'kayim the Mizvoh of Achilas Matzo. If you're interested please contact me ASAP before my supply runs out. I am asking $22./lb., less than the net cost to me.
