Mincha/ Maariv Minyan Schedule Change

This afternoon we will be having Mincha/Maariv as scheduled at 7:20 sharp (due to Golomb vort).

Tomorrow, Monday evening, the regular Mincha/Maariv Minyan is cancelled due to the Levayah of Steve Markowitz's mother in Boro Park at the same time.

Updated Info on Levayeh of Mrs. Devorah Markowitz A'H, mother of Steve Markowitz

                                                                                                  8 Elul 5772 (8/26/12)

With great sorrow we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Devorah Markowitz A"H*, mother of Steve Markowitz.

She will be flown from Dallas, Texas to New York tomorrow afternoon. Her Levayah will be at the Shomrei Hachomos Chapel in Boro Park (4218 Ft. Hamilton Pkway (corner 43rd St. & Ft. Pkway), Bklyn., NY 11219) tomorrow, Monday evening, at 7:00 p.m.

Steve will accompany his mother to Har Hamenuchos in Yerushalaim where she will be buried on Tuesday.

He will be IY"H returning to New York Friday morning (Erev Shabbos Ki Seitsei) where he will be sitting Shiva till next Monday morning (Labor Day).

*For those who don't know the Nifteres was a special person. Her bravery and Emunah as a 15 year old during the seige of Budapest was remarkable. For six months she almost daily  exited the apartment where her parents and brothers and sisters were hiding to secure food for their survival, while assuming the role of a Hungarian Gentile. Had her Jewishness been discovered she would Chas V'shalom have been sent to the death camps.

To all Chaveirim,

The combination lock on entry door to the Shul was changed. The combination has five depressable buttons. Considering the top button as #1 and the bottom button as #5, the new combination is:

 1) press #'s 1 and 2 simultaneously.
 2) press #'s 3 and 5 simultaneously.
2)  press # 4 and turn knob clockwise to open door.

P.S. Please feel free to share this information with all adults who are chaveirim in the Shul only. Thank You
