Tehillim
The following chapters of Tehillim are recited
for our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael:
Psalms 20, 83,121,130 and 142

Insufficient Understanding
T
he material world is a place where each thing seems to say, "Here I am and here I always was."
—-as though it has no source.
In fact, only the Essence of All Things has no source. He was and is and always will be.
This is the truth of what our world is trying to tell us: It is only trying to express
—in a distorted way —its own true essence, the Essence of All Things that has no source.
But a time will be when the distortion shall vanish and we shall see nothing but that Essence.

A Daily Dose of Wisdom from the Rebbe
-words and condensation by Tzvi Freeman

Growing Each Day: (excerpts)-
Building by youth may be destructive, while when elders dismantle, it is constructive (Nedarim 40a).
It seems paradoxical, but it is true.
We make the most important decisions of our lives when we are young and inexperienced,
and our maximum wisdom comes at an age when our lives are essentially behind us,
and no decisions of great moment remain to be made.
Those who refuse to learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them.
We would do well to swallow our youthful pride and benefit from the teachings of the school of experience.
Rabbi Abraham J. Twerski
