 I am delighted to announce my engagement to Hadassah, daughter of Rabbi & Mrs. Yehudah Hunger of Flatbush.

The Vort will be'h be on Sunday at Yeshiva Bais Yosef, 1502 Avenue N, Brooklyn 11230 (corner E 15th) after 7:00 pm.

We are looking for your thoughts regarding a shul luncheon to be held in the Rabbi's Succah on the 2^nd day of Succos. Besides the obvious objective of the gathering together of the kehilla for a community meal in the Succah, it is also a chance for our wives to take it a little easier, for at least 1 meal - erev Shabbos, during this busy Yom Tov season.

 

We are not looking to turn this opportunity into a fundraiser, just simply cover costs. With this in mind, the charge for this meal would be $35.00 per adult and $20.00 for children 10 years old and younger.

 

 We will only go forward if we receive enough of a positive response from you, the community. Please contact either Shlome Golomb (646-523-9963) or Bob Ratner (516-375-1335) with your thoughts.

Conversations regarding your Membership and Seating Reservations need to be made very, very soon – Selichos is upon us - Motzie Shabbos.

 

Once again please contact either Shlome Golomb (646-523-9963) or Bob Ratner (516-375-1335). We will be available in the shul at the conclusion of Shabbos and for a short while immediately following Sunday morning shacharis davening.

3.     Daily Dof Yomi Shiurim:

4.     The final Pirkei Avos shuir of the season with Mendel Fleischer at 6:10PM in the shul.

All of the men of the Pirkei Avos shiur THANK Mendel for the outstanding effort he puts into each week's preparation and presentation. We already can't wait for next year to begin once again.

 

5.     This week's women's shuir with Rabbi Herzig (he's back J) will be held in the Dank's residence, 2 Boar Court. Tehillim @ 5:30pm followed by the shiur @ 6:00PM.

*Blimie Markowitz is asking women to open their homes to host a week of shiur.

7.     Amy Ratner will be organizing an afternoon of Succah Hopping, to culminate in the Rabbi's Succah, for the 1st day of Succos. All those interested in either opening their Succah for a visit or joining-in, please contact Amy at 362-2129. More details to follow.
