 Dear all Shul Members,

 

   My nephew Elliot Kaizler who is in the tanks division, called his

mom, my sister Mimi, and told her that the soldiers are in need of Socks, underwear, toothpaste etc.

Together with her friend Rachel  She organized a fundraiser where volunteers are putting together

care packages with goods purchased in Ashkelon from local vendors and then distributed to the front lines.

So far they raised $65,000 in two days. She asked me to get my community involved as well. Therefore please 

forward this email to everyone you know. Other shuls, out of town communities,  and please donate yourself any amount

you can. The goods are reaching the soldiers all day long. Thank you for helping this cause and any other cause

you may be involved with in helping our soldiers.

Tonight, Tuesday July 22nd starting at 7 pm at Ohel Ari.

 

We need all the help we can get, as tonight our goal is being raised to 2000 packages!

Thank you for your generous donations and contributions and for forwarding the campaign to your family and friends outside of Israel.

 

Last night’s packaging operation was a huge success. We had HUNDREDS of volunteers that came to help out. Within an hour and a half we packed over 1500 bags. The packages were distributed to the following units:

-       600 pkgs. To GOLANI

-       400 pkgs. to EGOZ (elite unit of golani)

-       350 pkgs. to SHIRIYON

-        90 pkgs. to a base of MILUIM (reserves) soldiers near Ramallah

-       60 pkgs. to GEFEN (the combat officers training unit)

Extras were sent to hospitals where the wounded soldiers are being treated.

To date we raised over $50,000!!!! 

 

**Please have your children make drawings and write letters to the soldiers at home and bring them ready-made.
