Newburgh man dies in accident on Palisades Parkway

A 46-year-old Newburgh man died Wednesday when his car collided with another
vehicle and a struck a guide rail on the Palisades Parkway, state police
said.
The man, Michael Settino, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Rockland
County medical examiner.
Settino was driving his 2004 Infinity southbound on the highway about 5 p.m.
when he struck a 2008 Cadillac driven by Bradley Rephen of Wesley Hills,
N.Y., police said. Rephen's car went down an embankment and came to rest on
its roof. Rephen and his passenger, Allison Polesky of Brooklyn, were taken
to local hospitals and treated for their injuries, police said. The crash
happened in the Town of Haverstraw.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
