which stands for “IN CASE OF EMERGENCY” and to store the area code and telephone number of an emergency contact.
In this way, if someone is unable to make the call themselves, emergency-service workers can reach the designated contact person.
Town of Ramapo Police and emergency-service workers throughout the Town, upon responding to an emergency, may check cell phones for the contact name “ICE” on cell phone directories.
