The following was issued by Rockland Eruv a few hours ago.
“We are in the process of repairing the damage to the karfuf.
At this time it seems highly unlikely that the repairs will be completed before Shabbos.
Therefore, you are once again advised to consult with you Rav about carrying IN Section 4 or ALONG any of its boundaries (Eckerson and Viola roads between Hepstead and Route 45; Route 306 between Viola and New Pomona Road; the entire length of New Pomona Road; Route 45 between New Pomona Road and Eckerson).”
