UPDATE
MAPLE AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
This is an update on the Maple Avenue reconstruction project beginning the week of February 23rd.
One lane will be open for travel eastbound (in the direction of Spring Valley).
There will be curb and sidewalk installation on the North side of Maple Avenue from Phyllis Terrace to Maple Terrace.
There will be pipe replacement at the corner of Monsey Blvd and Maple Avenue.
Decorative light poles will be installed on the South side of Maple Avenue.
Depending on the weather, landscaping work will begin on the south side of Maple Avenue.
The re-construction project covers the location of Maple Avenue between Monsey Blvd and Saddle River Road. When completed, residents will enjoy a new and wider roadway, new sidewalks, new curbs, bus turning lanes, improved lighting, new traffic lights and improved drainage.
